First-party product capabilities: Available in this release
The current LyricVideo.net deployment provides a focused, client-centric lyric video timing workspace. Verified features include:
- Audio upload & storage: Direct-to-storage upload (MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC up to 25 MB and 10 minutes) via signed URLs using Cloudflare R2 object storage.
- Anonymous guest drafts: Unauthenticated users can start and save editing sessions; drafts persist for up to 7 days via an HttpOnly guest session cookie.
- Manual line synchronization: Paste multi-line lyric text, calibrate phrase start and end timestamps using interactive playhead buttons, or adjust numeric second values.
- Text split & merge: Utility buttons to divide long lines evenly or combine short adjacent phrases without altering overall interval boundaries.
- Passage selection: Choose a 15-second or 30-second window (or the full song for clips under 15 seconds) to highlight key song hooks.
- Aesthetic templates: Switch among Rainy Night (generated still image overlay), Soft Gradient (procedural color blend), and Minimal Dark (slate typography).
- Aspect ratio framing: Preview layouts in 9:16 portrait (optimized for smartphone screens) and 16:9 widescreen (standard horizontal video).
- In-browser Canvas preview: Real-time, synchronized rendering of lyric text over visual backgrounds with an embedded layout review watermark.
Features not available in the current release
To maintain transparency and prevent misleading expectations, the following capabilities are explicitly not part of this release:
- Automatic speech recognition / transcription: The software does not analyze audio waveforms or convert singing into text; users bring their own lyrics.
- Vocal separation: We do not strip vocals, generate instrumental stems, or perform acoustic stem separation.
- Word-by-word karaoke highlighting: Text is synchronized line-by-line; automated per-word forced alignment is not implemented.
- Clean 1080p MP4 file export: High-resolution video rendering without a watermark is planned for future delivery; no release date is guaranteed.
- Payment checkout: Checkout endpoints return service unavailable (503); proposed pricing tiers ($4.99 single / $9.99 3-pack) represent planned offers, not active contracts.
- Direct social publishing: There is no automated connection to publish or post directly to TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram accounts.
Provenance of sample demonstration media
The demonstration clips showcased in the gallery and templates sections are pre-rendered 15-second video files. They consist of original synthesized chord sequences and authored English lyric verses. They contain no sampled vocals, copyrighted music recordings, or user-submitted audio. These demos demonstrate visual contrast and typography rendering; they do not prove automatic lyric recognition or render pipeline performance.
Detailed creation parameters, SHA-256 file hashes, and license metadata are documented in our public provenance record.
